Runny yolk. They actually get this right.
Is it actually worth it?
Not everything needs to be an occasion. Casements is where I go when I want to sit with two friends, talk for three hours, and spend forty dollars total. The Guinness is the best pour in the Mission and I will argue about that.
The food is pub food done with real care — the scotch egg has a jammy yolk, the curry sauce is house-made and not out of a jar, and the toastie is aggressively buttered in the way a toastie should be. This is not a place for a tasting-menu palate. It's a place for a Tuesday.
Value here is almost silly. Three pints and two plates is under $40. In 2026 San Francisco, that's a small miracle.
