Lash Idôle Mascara
No flaking, no raccoon eyes, no drama.
I have oily lids and short, straight lashes, which is a combination that turns most mascaras into an under-eye smudge by 2pm. This one just doesn't do that. I've worn it through a wedding, a very emotional movie, and one extremely windy day at Pebble Beach.
The brush is thin and slightly curved, so it actually gets to the inner corner lashes I usually give up on. It builds to a fanned-out, separated look rather than a spiky one — I do two coats and stop.
It comes off with warm water and a cleansing balm, which matters more than people admit. I've thrown out great mascaras purely because removing them felt like a chore.
I still love the Ilia Limitless for a natural day and the Maybelline Sky High for volume on a budget. Neither survives my lids past mid-afternoon.

"Fourth tube and counting. The most reliable thing on this list."
